About Muhimbili School of Nursing and Midwifery
The Muhimbili School of Nursing and Midwifery, commonly referred to as Chuo cha Nursing and Midwifery Muhimbili . The School of Nursing (SON) was established in 1989 through collaboration between the Nursing Education Department of the then Muhimbili Medical Centre in Tanzania, and the Dalhousie University School of Nursing, in Canada. In 2007 when Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences (MUCHS) became a full fledge university i.e. the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), five schools were established one of them being the School of Nursing (SoN).
