About Kilema College of Health Sciences
The Kilema College of Health Sciences, commonly referred to as Chuo Cha Afya Kilema, Kilema College of Health Sciences (KICOHS) is located on the Slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro –Moshi ,Tanzania.
It is one hour drive from Moshi town, a distance of about 50 kilometers only. The weather at Kilema and the surrounding environment is cool, calm and peaceful .The College therefore offers a haven of peace and serenity away from the hustle and bustle of Moshi Town .
It is the intention of His Eminence The Rt Rev .Bishop of Diocese of Moshi –Bishop Isaack Amani, The Principal and the College Board to make KICOHS renown and Comprehensive , not only in Tanzania but East Africa ; Africa and the World at large.
Students wishing to join our College must have finished [O] Level Secondary Education and passed in Chemistry, Physics and Biology and Mathematics /English is added advantage. The College intends to offer a wide range of academic disciplines. Currently we are offering Basic Certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences .Diploma and upgrading Diploma in medical laboratory. Other Courses to be introduced at Certificate and Diploma levels are Pharmacy, Dentisty ,Nursing and Clinical Medicine.
Our academic year starts in March and September /October of each Year. In the foreseeable near future, a Kilema University College should in the offing. We are looking for Medical Colleges and Universities with whom we can cola borate .Exchange programmers of Lecturers/Tutors and Students shall be our priority .All are welcome.
