Job Description
KEY AREAS
GENERAL
- Know and understand the customers equipment and fleet requirements
- Develop and pursue My Sandvik opportunities
- Develop and pursue sales opportunities for Aftermarket products and service
- Develop customer call plans to maximise customer visits
- Partner with customers to provide solutions with respect to aftermarket parts, service and consumables
- Monitor parts usage patterns
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of the local market and competitor conditions.
OPERATION ACTIVITIES
- Sell parts and service in a territory;
- Assess customers potential for parts and services;
- Develop and own a sales and service plan for designated accounts or territory i.e. accountable for sales revenue;
- Assess technical issues with all Sandvik products and prepare / submit quotations for small to medium expenditure for account manager
- Assist with site communication of bulletins and alerts for all Sandvik’s products;
- Forecasting and Budgeting;
- Monitor parts usage patterns and liaise with inventory controllers;
- Responsible for achieving target DSO for their customers.
EFFECTIVE CUSTOMER RELATIONS
- Be part of an account team and customer interactions
Develop customer relationships that ensure customers to remain loyal to Sandvik’s brand
- Liaise between customers and Sandvik to ensure all warranty claims are settled in a timely fashion and are fast tracked as much as possible
- Customer visits and partnering with customers to provide solutions with respect to after-market parts, service and tools and consumables.

- Order intake vs budget/forecast
- Total Invoice Issued by Nominated Business Types Mix (Actual vs. targe)
- Total Invoice growth accounts managed
- Revenue per machine
- Operations cost as % of revenue
- Order fill rate
- Inventory performance

EDUCATION
Degree in Business Management/Engineering or equivalent professional experience
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in earth moving parts environment (5 years)
- Experience in Sales and Marketing (5 years)
- English proficiency
- Experience in mining applications (Specifically mechanized mining) (5 years)
