The Karagwe Institute of Allied Health Sciences, commonly referred to as Chuo Cha Afya na sayansi shirikishi Karagwe,
KIAHS started its activity in Omurushaka before shifting its headquarters to Kishao in 2014.
The institution has been delivering various allied health courses, including Basic Technician Certificate in Community Health and Technician Certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences
KIAHS is in expansion plan to accommodate other allied health courses including diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Diploma in Clinical Medicine
Located in the area called Kishao, beside the highway of Bukoba to Karagwe, about 2 km from Omurushaka town and about 6 km from Karagwe district town(Kayanga).
