MWECAU Online application 2023/2024: The Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU) uses online application system (OAS) to receive and process applications for admission in to various MWECAU programmes. The MWECAU online application System is linked with Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) admission system, National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for degrees, certificates and Diploma verification.

MWECAU Online application is an online database system created and designed by MWECAU IT department that automate the collection, tabulation and reporting of applicant information to simplify college admission and application process at MWECAU. The Online application system requires the user/Applicant to have a computer that is connected to the internet enable the user/applicant to access the online application System and make application instantly.

Before using MWECAU online application system makes sure one of the following Web Browsers have been installed on your device: Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Edge, Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7.0 and above, and Mozilla Firefox 3.5 and above.

How to Apply for Admission at the Mwenge Catholic University

The long-awaited application forms for the Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU) are finally online. Start your application by creating a personal account with MWECAU Admission portal before selecting a course and submitting your form. Ensure you meet MWECAU application requirements, which are:

Registration and MWECAU login process. If you are already registered at the MWECAU -admission portal, you can now proceed with your application by first logging into the website. Provide your username, password for successful login to send your application or check your admission status or reapply. After submitting your application, wait for MWECAU to verify your application.

For Applicants with ACSEE Awarded from NECTA
1. You are required to have a valid and working personal email address.
2. You will use your form IV Index number and Form VI Index number for verifications of your education results
For Applicants with Foreign Certificate of ACSEE as entry qualifications
1. Applicant with O-Level Certificate (CSEE) : Scanned original O-Level Education Certificate in PDF or Image
2. Applicant with A-Level Certificate (ACSEE): Scanned original O-Level and A-Level Education Certificate in PDF or Image
3. You are required to have a valid and working personal email address and mobile number.
For Applicants with Ordinary Diploma/ Equivalent to Ordinary Diploma (FTC & Others)
1. Applicant Verification Number (AVN) from NACTE Awards Verification System (Apply Here for AVN))
2. You are required to have a valid and working personal email address and mobile number.

Step 2 : Self Registration

Click on the Do Self Registration button at the left side to start. Your Form Four Index Number will be used as your username and make sure you remember your password. Provide all your basic details (You must provide a valid email address and phone number) and then after saving system will redirect you to login page. Use your Form four Index Number and Password you created to login.

Step 3 : Updated Personal Information

This section require you to fill gender, marital status, and physical address.

Step 5 : Academic Information

In this section fill exams index numbers request. After submitting, If you studied in Tanzania you will see your results. Click continue to go to next step

Step 4 : Choose/Select Programme to Study

This section requires you to select three programmes of your choice.

Step 5 : Application Attachment

Upload all the required scanned original documents as listed in Step One.

Step 6 : Review & Submit your Application

Before you submit your application. You are required to review all of the Information for correctness. Edit to correct in case of any error. So be carefully to review and correct all information before submit.

Step 7 :Application Status

You can see your application status any time you login to your account
