What are NIT entry requirements?
NIT Entry requirements are formal criteria you must meet in order to be considered for a degree course you’re applying to at the National Institute of Transport (NIT).
These criteria are set by the National Institute of Transport, to determine whether you’re capable of meeting its objectives. This is based on relevant or similar skills, knowledge and ability you’ve demonstrated in previous qualifications, exams and assessments – see below the full list of entry requirements you might need to meet, for a given course at the National Institute of Transport (NIT).

- Form IV with at least a minimum pass of “D” grade in two subjects mentioned above which must include Basic Mathematics and National Vocational Award Level 3 in Auto – Electrical and Electronics

Ordinary Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

- Ordinary Diploma in Teacher Education (NTA Level 6) with a GPA of not less than 3.0 points OR a B grade with mathematics as one of teaching subjects
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (BIT)
Entry Requirements
- Two (2) Principal passes in Form VI in any subjects other than religious subjects with a total of not less than 4.0 points, OR
